DAAYO Matinee // Hill Performance Hall GenAdm

The Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra (DAAYO)’s spring matinee concert will feature our String Explorers, Junior Strings and Concert Strings orchestras. Come join us for a fun afternoon of music – a great outing for the whole family, and you can show your support for local young musicians!

These three string orchestras form the foundation of DAAYO’s educational programs, drawing talented young musicians from around the DFW area. Throughout the season of rehearsing once a week, these young musicians develop friendships with their peers, and now are excited to present to you their work for this spring 2026 concert.

Conductors Scott Arakawa (Concert Strings), Jenna Park (Junior Strings) and Angela Sledge (String Explorers) conduct our three string orchestras.

Only $10 General Admission | $7 Student Ticket

Academic Festival Overture (Brahms arr. McCashin)
Lost Relic (Pilsner)
Mystic Mountain (Thomas)
